
The Quality Assurance Institute (QAI)
has modified the testing process as of this date. The new process is
highlighted below:
- Tests are taken at ETS’s Prometric
Testing Centers
- The previous paper-based
application has been replaced with an on-line application
- Schedule through Prometric Testing
Centers
- Same fee
- Same exam layout and time
(multiple choice / essay) except there will be no questions requiring
pictures
- Same breaks are available
(optional)
- If you take your examination at a
Prometric testing center, you will typically receive your results in 8
weeks
- Same late show policy (considered
a no show)
- Retakes from paper exams can be at
Prometrics
- Same result notification
process
- The candidate must take the
initial exam within 12 months after acceptance
- CSTE candidacy requires a
professional reference

Please be aware that SISQA has no input into how
the exam is created and cannot register you to take the exam. Visit the
site above for information.
If you'd like written study materials, you
can purchase them from our parent organization, QAI at http://www.qaiworldwide.org/bookstore/index.html. The only study materials that SISQA can help with
are posted as links in the schedule below.

promptly so that we may dedicate as much time as possible to the material.

If you are in the Boise, Idaho area and are
interested in studying for the exam or helping others study, you are more
than welcome to attend our sessions. There is no charge to attend, and you are
not required to register as a member of SISQA or QAI.
If the person leading the discussion group uses
some sort of computer based file, such as a PowerPoint presentation or a Word
document, the file will be posted to our Web site as soon as possible after the
material is reviewed in the study group.
